"Cindy" is not the name I was sealed with at birth. It is a nick-name. I've been called this name since I can remember. I like it! I do not answer to any other name.
I'm continually called to be Cindy.
What I do here I call a nick-talent; not necessarily what I was stamped with at birth, but what I've been transformed over the years to do when I'm called to do it. This, apparently, is one of those times. I don't claim to be the best writer, or even a great one; what I do claim to be, though, is one who is making an effort in transcribing what God (Yahweh) proposes on my heart to share with you.
I'm continually called to do God's (Yahweh's) work.
In addition to blogging, (and more importantly what I was indeed created to do...and only by admittance of lots of learning through lots of failing) I am in the middle of raising three gorgeous teenage girls (not to mention a few newly discovered, wiry, silver streaks in my scalp), and being proud of and loving on my handsome bread-winner of a husband.
In keeping with the trends of the "home-style-mothers-in-the-mountains" (because this is what I've observed most able women do around here) helping to add a little fun money to the budget, I manage my own cleaning service with the motto: "Come home to mountain fresh clean!" only to come home after a day of cleaning someone else's retreat to my own fabulous, humble, mountain abode with a contrasting motto: "At home in mountain cluttered stink!" Anyone volunteering to clean my castle?
I'm continually called to know who I am.
I am the Bride of Christ, and I am readying myself for His return. His blood has reserved me entrance into His Kingdom; His grace has allowed me the freedom to "walk just as He walked" First John 2:6; and my life is a testimony to His mercy.
I'm continually called to understand who Yeshua (Jesus) is.
He is Creator of heaven and earth and all that He breathed into existence (Genesis 1 & John 1:3). He is the Word of God (Yahweh) (John 1:1-2). He is the Light of men (John 1:4). He is my example as He was perfect in walking out His own commandments and observed all of His own feasts (First John 2:6, Matthew 26:17-18, Mark 14:14 He is the Lawgiver (Isaiah 33:22 & James 4:12). He is the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit (John 10:30 & Colossians 2:9). He is the sacrificial Lamb who died for my sins (John 1:36 & Revelation 7:17). He is my Bridegroom readying my heavenly abode and a trumpet will sound at His coming. He is my Strength, my Song, and my Salvation (Exodus 15:2, 2 Samuel 22:33, Psalm 28:7, Isaiah 12:2, Habakkuk 3:19). He is simply and most profoundly my ALL!
I'm continually called to live by God's (Yahweh's) Word.
Proverbs 24:3 "By wisdom a house is built, and by understanding it is established."
The foundations of this *house* is being reestablished by His whole Truth as He unfolds the mystery of His love for me. Through wisdom and discernment do I walk in it; and I walk in it out of obedience (because He says so), and out of love for Him (because I can).
I'm continually called to overcome challenges... (explained here)
Because life's too precious to stay on the fence!
